Bart van Wissen has always refused to limit himself to a specific genre of music, both in his productions and in his DJ sets. His music incorporates elements from jazz and funk as well as classical music.

Living in a town called Zaandam, minutes away from Amsterdam, Bart grew up in a house that was always filled with music. At the age of 7, he got his first keyboard from his grandpa, and he quickly realized that his ambition was to create music. When he got his first computer with a soundcard, Bart started to experiment and soon he began to form his own unique style, inspired by many different genres. In 2002, he sent out his first demo and soon after that his first release, “illuminate”, was a fact. After that, many more releases followed, ranging in genres from deep house to techno and from triphop to electro.

In the mean time, Bart also established himself as a highly sought after remixer, as well as an excellent DJ, capable of getting the crowd moving. His DJ sets are a blend of many styles of house and techno music, and he is not afraid to experiment with borrowing from other genres of music too. He’s been playing the clubs in The Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Turkey, and as far as Singapore and Indonesia.
